IHAP is a free, 80-hour, 5-week hybrid pre-apprenticeship program designed to prepare unemployed and underemployed adults for entry-level jobs in healthcare.

Starting in January 2027 (tentatively), classes are held Monday through Thursday, mostly virtually with some in-person activities.

Participants receive job-readiness training, healthcare career exploration, resume and interview preparation, and CPR/BLS and Mental Health First Aid certifications, along with connections to healthcare employment and apprenticeship opportunities. The exact program dates will be confirmed soon.
